Helped to launch AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) as the Global Test Manager, and International Beta Coordinator for AOL UK.
One of the seven original founders of the W3C Mobile Web Initiative.
Co-founded the W3C standard for URL Classification.
Provided written evidence and was invited to private briefing meetings throughout the British Parliamentary Inquiry into Online Child Protection.
Hosted meetings between the FBI, US Department of Justice and The National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) for matters related to online child exploitation and how to tackle it with new technology and techniques.
Led 30+ direct reports at O2 UK. Led technical and acceptance testing for the first MMS picture-messaging product, simultaneously in the UK, Germany, Holland and Ireland.
Led testing for the first SMS Voting systems and applications for the first and subsequent campaigns for reality tv shows; Big Brother, Popstars, Pop Idol.
Led technical and acceptance testing for the launch of Tesco MVNO, on behalf of O2 Products.
Founded Segala, the first Test House to join the GSMA as an Associate Member. Some notable clients included Disney, Telefonica, O2, Nokia, Tesco Mobile, Vodafone, eMap and LightSurf (VeriSign).

Built the first security service and parental control software for mobile device OEMs.
Built the first security service for mobile apps – portfolio of patents includes URL lookups for advertising, phishing, malware, pornography, misinformation, domain ownership identity…
Built the first security service for every team collaboration and messaging service - HipChat, Slack, Skype, Messenger, and Telegram.
Amongst the first in the world to build chatbots (with AI). Recommended by Slack and listed as one of their top 20 chatbots and integrations for 2 years.
Killed the phishing epidemic on Slack for the cryptocurrency world in 2017.
Pioneered a new approach to anti-phishing security called “Zero Trust URL & Web Access Authentication”.
Built the first browser-based security service to adopt “Zero Trust”. To this day, not a single person has ever fallen for a deceptive URL, download, service or website when protected by MetaCert.
Built the first security service for SMS – using the Zero Trust strategy – called “Zero Trust SMS”. Hope to launch with the first operator in Q1 2022.
