Rob Pickering

Rob is a seasoned software developer and company founder whose career started as a software engineer writing a TCP/IP stack for a microprocessor vendor in the 1980s.

 

After many years building and scaling Internet service architectures for organisations through the 90s and early 00s, he founded UK based VoIP pioneer IPCortex in 2005. He grew it as CEO through its transition into communication platform provider and sale in 2019.

 

He now works at the intersection of open source real time communication and AI through his current company Aplisay. Uses British English otherwise his spellchecker gets upset.
