Spring ’26 vCon is curated and hosted by Jeff Pulver
ABOUT JEFF PULVER
Jeff Pulver has spent decades at the intersection of communication, technology, and community.
He is best known for his early work in voice over IP, where he helped convene developers, entrepreneurs, carriers, and policymakers at a time when internet-based voice communication was still experimental.
Jeff’s work has consistently focused on one idea: bringing people together to turn emerging technologies into real systems.
From VoIP to vCons
As AI systems increasingly rely on voice and messaging, Jeff recognized a familiar pattern.
Just as early VoIP lacked structure, interoperability, and trust, modern AI Communication faces the same challenge with conversational memory.
vCons represent the next step: turning conversations into structured, portable memory that AI systems can use responsibly and over time.
Having seen what happens when foundational communication layers emerge without shared structure or trust, Jeff believes AI Communication must be shaped deliberately — before fragmentation and misuse become the norm.
Spring ’26 vCon reflects that belief.
Role at vCon Foundation
Jeff is the Founder and Chief Evangelist of the vCon Foundation, where he works to educate, convene, and accelerate adoption of virtualized conversations.

He also publishes The Pulver vCon Report, exploring AI Communication, trust, consent, and governance across industries.

At Spring ’26 vCon, Jeff serves as curator and host — bringing together builders, operators, policymakers, and partners to shape the future of AI Communication.
